Admission Requirements
Grossmont College is a public community college in El Cajon, California. The college is part of the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District and offers associate's degrees and certificate programs. The college has an open-access policy, which means that any student who meets the minimum requirements for admission is welcome to enroll.
The minimum requirements for admission to Grossmont College are as follows:
1. A high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
2. A 2.0 GPA or higher
3. Passing scores on the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)
4. Completion of college preparatory coursework (e.g., English and math)
5. Submission of a completed application and $46 application fee
6. Proof of immunization against certain diseases
7. Satisfactory completion of a placement test (if required)
