Florence-Darlington Technical College is a two-year institution of higher learning located in Florence, South Carolina. The college offers over 50 programs of study leading to the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degrees. In addition to its academic programs, the college also offers a variety of continuing education and workforce development courses.

The college was founded in 1963 as a result of a merger between Florence Technical Institute and Darlington Industrial Education Center. The two schools had served the Florence and Darlington areas, respectively, for many years and the merger was seen as a way to better meet the needs of the community.

Since its founding, the college has grown steadily and now serves over 4,000 students each year. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges.
