Flathead Valley Community College (FVCC) is a public, two-year institution of higher education located in Kalispell, Montana. FVCC is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The college offers associate degrees and professional certificates in a variety of academic and technical fields.

FVCC was founded in 1967 as Flathead Valley Community College District #1, one of the first community colleges in Montana. The college originally operated out of a rented storefront in downtown Kalispell. In its first year, the college enrolled just over 200 students.

Today, FVCC serves over 4,000 students each year. The college offers over 50 degree and certificate programs. FVCC’s academic programs are divided into five divisions: Arts & Sciences, Business & Technology, Health Sciences, Industrial Trades, and University Studies.

The college’s main campus is located on a 100-acre site in Kalispell. The campus includes a variety of academic and support buildings, including a library, a computer lab, and a student center. In addition to its main campus, FVCC operates a satellite campus in Libby, Montana.

FVCC is an open-admission college, meaning that any student who meets the minimum admission requirements is eligible to enroll. The college also offers a variety of financial aid options to help students cover the cost of tuition and fees.
