Edgecombe Community College is a public two-year community college in Tarboro, North Carolina. It is part of the North Carolina Community College System. The college opened in 1967 as Edgecombe Technical Institute and became Edgecombe Community College in 1987. The college offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in a variety of programs.

Edgecombe Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees. The college is also accredited by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission, and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

The college offers over 50 programs of study leading to associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. These programs are divided into five academic divisions: Business and Public Services, Health Sciences, Industrial and Engineering Technologies, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and University Transfer.

Edgecombe Community College is located in Tarboro, North Carolina, a town of about 11,000 people in Edgecombe County. The town is located in the eastern part of the state, about 60 miles east of Raleigh, the state capital.

The college campus is located on a 100-acre site on the outskirts of Tarboro. The campus includes a variety of buildings and facilities, including a library, a gymnasium, a bookstore, and a student center.
