Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College (EWVCTC) is a public two-year college in Moorefield, West Virginia. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. It is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II and the West Virginia Community and Technical College Conference (WVCTCC).
The college offers associate degrees and certificate programs in a variety of fields, including business, computer science, engineering, health sciences, liberal arts, and more. EWVCTC also has a number of distance learning and online courses available.
EWVCTC was founded in 1974 as the Eastern West Virginia Regional Vocational-Technical Center. The college changed its name to Eastern West Virginia Community College in 1992 and became a part of the West Virginia Community and Technical College System in 1999. In 2015, the college was renamed Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College.
The college is located on a 73-acre (30 ha) campus in Moorefield, West Virginia. The campus includes a number of academic and administrative buildings, as well as a library, a student center, and a fitness center.
EWVCTC serves the communities of Eastern West Virginia and the surrounding areas. The college offers a variety of services to its students, including academic advising, career counseling, tutoring, and more. EWVCTC also has a number of student organizations and clubs, as well as intramural sports teams.
