East Los Angeles College (ELAC) is a public community college in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area. The college is located in the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles, California, United States, adjacent to the city of Los Angeles. ELAC is the largest of nine colleges that comprise the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD). It is also the oldest college in the LACCD, having been founded in 1947.

ELAC offers over 100 academic programs leading to Associates degrees and certificates in a variety of fields, including the arts and sciences, business and technology, health and human services. The college also offers a number of programs and services for students with special needs, such as English as a Second Language (ESL) and GED preparation.

ELAC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The college has an active student government and a vibrant campus life, with a variety of clubs and organizations. The campus is also home to a number of athletic teams, which compete in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA).

ELAC is located in the Eastside of Los Angeles, serving a population of over 1.3 million people. The college is just minutes away from downtown Los Angeles, making it easily accessible for students who live in the area. The campus is also served by a number of public transportation options, including the Metro Gold Line light rail.
