Admission Requirements
Dabney S Lancaster Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education located in Clifton Forge, Virginia. The College serves the citizens of Alleghany County and the City of Covington. The College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the Associate Degree.
Admission to Dabney S Lancaster Community College is open to any person who has a high school diploma or its equivalent and who meets the following requirements:
1. Completed an application for admission and submitted it to the Office of Admissions along with a non-refundable $25 application fee.
2. Submitted official high school transcripts or GED scores.
3. Completed the College Placement Test or provided acceptable SAT or ACT scores.
4. Met with a counselor to develop an individualized program of study.
5. Registered for and attended Orientation.
6. Completed any additional requirements as specified by the program of study.
