Community College of Vermont (CCV) is a public community college in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is a two-year institution and the largest community college in Vermont. CCV has 11 locations throughout the state and offers online and hybrid courses. The college is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

CCV was founded in 1970 as Vermont Technical Institute, a technical college focused on providing training for Vermont’s growing manufacturing sector. In 1996, the college’s name was changed to Community College of Vermont to reflect its expanded mission of serving the needs of the state’s communities.

Today, CCV offers over 60 academic programs leading to associate degrees, certificates, and diplomas. The college also provides adult education and continuing education courses, as well as workforce development and training programs.

CCV’s 11 locations are spread across Vermont, from the capital city of Montpelier to the Vermont-New Hampshire border. The college also offers online and hybrid courses, which allow students to take classes both online and in-person.

CCV is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The college is also a member of the American Association of Community Colleges, the Vermont Association of Colleges and Universities, and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce.
