The College of the Albemarle (COA) is a public community college in North Carolina with campuses in Dare, Currituck, and Tyrell counties. Founded in 1960, the college serves over 11,000 students each year and offers over 100 programs of study. COA is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and is a member of the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS).
