The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) is a public, two-year community college located in La Plata, Maryland, United States. The college also has two satellite campuses, one in Leonardtown and another in Prince Frederick. The college was established in 1958 and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. CSM offers over 80 academic programs and awards associate degrees, as well as certificates in a variety of fields. The college also provides a number of services to its students, including tutoring, career counseling, and job placement assistance. In addition, CSM offers a number of extracurricular activities and clubs, as well as a variety of athletic teams.
