Admission Requirements
Chemeketa Community College has an open-door admissions policy, meaning that any student who meets the minimum requirements for admission is welcome to enroll. The minimum requirements for admission are as follows:
1. The applicant must be a high school graduate, or have a GED or equivalent.
2. The applicant must submit official transcripts from all previous colleges and universities attended.
3. The applicant must take and pass a placement test, unless they have already completed college-level coursework in English and math.
4. The applicant must complete and submit a Chemeketa application for admission.
5. The applicant must pay the required application fee.
Once these minimum requirements have been met, the applicant's file will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. If the Committee determines that the applicant is a good fit for Chemeketa, they will be admitted. If the Committee has any questions or concerns, they may request an interview with the applicant.
