Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) is a two-year public institution of higher education located in Lynchburg, Virginia. CVCC was established in 1966 and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees. The college serves the cities of Lynchburg and Bedford, as well as the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell, and Nelson.
