Central Maine Community College (CMCC) is a public community college in Auburn, Maine. It is part of the Maine Community College System. CMCC offers associate degrees and certificate programs in a variety of fields, as well as adult education and continuing education courses.

CMCC was founded in 1962 as the Lewiston-Auburn Community College. It was the first community college in Maine and the second in New England. The college was originally located in the former Lewiston High School building. In its early years, the college offered programs in business, secretarial science, and liberal arts. In the 1970s, the college began to offer technical and career-oriented programs.

Today, CMCC is a comprehensive community college serving the Lewiston-Auburn area and the surrounding communities. The college enrolls approximately 4,000 students in credit and non-credit programs. CMCC offers over 50 degree and certificate programs, as well as a variety of adult education and continuing education courses.

The college is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. CMCC is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges and the Maine Association of Community Colleges.
