Bishop State Community College is a public, historically black college located in Mobile, Alabama. Founded in 1927, the college is a part of the Alabama Community College System. Bishop State offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in academic and technical programs. The college also offers continuing education and workforce development programs.

Bishop State Community College has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges since 1974. The college is comprised of four campuses: the Main Campus in Mobile, the George N. French, Jr. Campus in Prichard, the Williamson Campus in Mobile, and the Carver Campus in Mobile. The Main Campus is home to the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business and Public Administration, the School of Health Sciences, and the School of Industrial and Continuing Education. The George N. French, Jr. Campus houses the School of Nursing and the School of Allied Health. The Williamson Campus is home to the School of Trades and Technology, and the Carver Campus is home to the Early College Academy.
