Preference for funding from CLAD is given to students who are enrolled in one of the School’s programs and who are presenting at a conference during the semester of the award application. In addition, preference will be given to those receiving funds for the first time during the academic year. If funds are sufficient, support will also be given to students who are only attending a conference. Up to $250 will be awarded only once per semester per student, as long as funding is available, and is distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Decisions about awards for students who are attending only will not be made until after the application deadline date. After travel is complete, students must submit a receipt for their conference registration before they will receive funds. Please note, graduate students may also apply to the College of Education Deans’ office Graduate Student Conference Travel Award for an additional $250.
