The Amigo Scholars Program is open to non-resident incoming freshmen accepted into the University of New Mexico. You must either have a minimum 3.5 GPA and an ACT score of at least 23 (or SAT equivalent 1070), or a minimum 3.0 GPA and at least a 26 on the ACT (or SAT equivalent 1190) to be considered for this award. Cert-Council Of Energy Resource Tribes Program
CERT is a multi-Tribal organization (American Indian Tribes & Canadian Indian nations.) TRIBES is a pre-college program to enhance academic skills and prepare for transition to college life for Indian high school graduates pursuing careers in Energy Resource Development, Engineering, Business, Science and related fields. The 7-week college credit program is currently offered at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Cost of instruction, activities, room & board are paid by TRIBES program.
