Tri-State Barber College has been teaching the art of barbering since 1972. The college is located in Ashland, Kentucky and offers a variety of programs to help students learn the trade. The college offers a two-year program, a one-year program, and a six-month program. The two-year program is the most comprehensive and includes classes on hair cutting, shaving, hair coloring, and barbering theory. The one-year program is designed for students who already have some experience in the field and want to learn more advanced techniques. The six-month program is a shorter version of the one-year program and is perfect for those who want to learn the basics of barbering. All of the programs at Tri-State Barber College are designed to prepare students for the Kentucky Barber Board exams. Upon successful completion of the exams, students will be eligible to receive their Kentucky Barber license.
