The Educational Technical College-Recinto de Coamo (ETC) is located in the municipality of Coamo, Puerto Rico. It is a public, co-educational institution that offers technical and vocational education at the secondary level. The ETC was founded in 1967 and its main campus is situated on a 14-acre (57,000 m2) plot of land. The college offers programs in a wide variety of trades and technical fields, such as automotive mechanics, carpentry, cosmetology, electrical installation and repair, masonry, plumbing, and welding. In addition to its technical and vocational programs, the ETC also offers a two-year associate degree program in business administration. The ETC has a student population of approximately 1,200 and a faculty of over 100. The college is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the Puerto Rico Association of Colleges and Universities.
