Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center is a public career and technology education center located in Choctaw, Oklahoma. It is one of twenty-three such centers in Oklahoma that serve high school students and adults. The Technology Center offers programs in the areas of Agriculture, Business and Marketing, Health Sciences, Industrial and Engineering Technologies, and Public Services.
The Technology Center’s mission is to provide quality career and technology education that prepares individuals for successful careers and responsible citizenship. The Technology Center accomplishes its mission by offering a variety of programs and services that meet the needs of the students, businesses, and industries in the community.
The Technology Center’s programs are designed to prepare students for careers in high-demand, high-skill occupations. The Technology Center offers both academic and technical instruction that leads to industry-recognized credentials and/or an associate degree. The Technology Center also provides adult basic education and English as a Second Language classes to help students improve their basic skills and prepare for the high school equivalency examination.
The Technology Center’s services include career counseling, job placement assistance, and adult basic education classes. The Technology Center also partners with local businesses and industries to provide job training and customized business and industry services.
The Technology Center is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education. The Technology Center is a member of the Oklahoma Career and Technology Education System and the National Association of Career and Technical Education.
