Western Wyoming Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education located in Rock Springs, Wyoming, United States. It is a part of the Wyoming Community College System. The school enrolls over 4,000 students annually and offers associate degrees and certificates in over 50 programs of study.
The college was founded in 1966 as a result of a feasibility study conducted by the Wyoming Legislature. The college opened its doors to students in September 1968 with an initial enrollment of just over 200 students. The first classes were held in the old Central High School building. The college moved to its current location in 1970.
The college has grown steadily over the years and now offers a wide variety of programs and services to its students. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association.
