Admission Requirements
Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) is a public, two-year institution of higher education located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States. The college is part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). SKYCTC currently serves more than 10,000 students each semester in credit and non-credit programs.
The mission of Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College is to provide accessible, high-quality education and training that promote student success and enhance the economic development of our communities.
To be eligible for admission to SKYCTC, students must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Official high school transcripts and/or GED scores must be submitted to the Office of Admissions prior to enrolling in classes.
Students who have not yet completed high school but wish to enroll in college-level coursework may do so through the Dual Credit program. Dual Credit courses are offered to high school students at a discounted rate and can be taken for both high school and college credit.
In addition to high school transcripts, students must also submit official ACT or SAT scores if they wish to be considered for academic scholarships. For more information on scholarships, please visit the college’s website.
Students who have earned college credit from another institution must submit official transcripts from all schools attended. Transcripts should be sent to the Office of Admissions prior to enrolling in classes.
