South Arkansas Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education located in El Dorado, Union County, Arkansas. The college was founded in 1991 as a result of a merger between two-year public institutions, Union County Junior College and South Arkansas Technical Institute. The college serves Union County and the surrounding areas of South Arkansas. The college has an enrollment of approximately 3,500 students.
The college offers a variety of academic programs leading to an Associate of Arts degree, an Associate of Science degree, an Associate of Applied Science degree, or a certificate. The college also offers a variety of continuing education opportunities for adults.
