San Juan College is a public two-year community college located in Farmington, New Mexico. It is the state's largest two-year college and the only community college in New Mexico with its own four-year degree program. The college serves approximately 8,000 students annually from across the Four Corners region.

San Juan College was founded in 1956 as San Juan Vocational-Technical School. It was established to provide vocational and technical training to the residents of the Four Corners region. The school began with just over 100 students and six faculty members. In its first year, the school offered programs in automotive mechanics, carpentry, and welding.

The school rapidly outgrew its original facilities and, in 1960, moved to its current location on a 100-acre campus. The college continued to grow and expand its programs and services. In the 1970s, the college began offering associate degree programs. In the 1980s, the college added a nursing program and began offering four-year degrees in engineering and business.

Today, San Juan College is a comprehensive two-year college offering over 60 associate degree and certificate programs. The college also offers four-year degrees in engineering, business, and nursing. The college serves approximately 8,000 students annually from across the Four Corners region.
