Rockingham Community College (RCC) is a public, two-year community college in Wentworth, North Carolina. RCC is a member of the North Carolina Community College System. Rockingham Community College was established in 1965 as Rockingham Technical Institute. The institute was created to provide technical and vocational education to the citizens of Rockingham County. In 1967, the name was changed to Rockingham Community College. The college moved to its current location in Wentworth in 1968.
