Northern Oklahoma College is a public two-year community college serving northern Oklahoma. The college has its main campus in Tonkawa, with branch campuses in Enid and Stillwater. NOC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

NOC was founded in 1901 as the Tonkawa Indian School, a boarding school for Native American students. In the early years, the school focused on vocational training, but it began offering college-level courses in the 1920s. In the 1930s, the school was renamed the Tonkawa Junior College.

After World War II, the college experienced a period of growth, as the GI Bill made college accessible to many veterans. In the 1950s, the college began offering four-year degrees, and in the 1960s, it became a state-supported institution. In the 1970s, the college began offering courses at its branch campuses in Enid and Stillwater.

Today, NOC offers a wide range of academic programs, as well as a variety of student services. The college is committed to providing a quality education at an affordable price.
