Los Angeles Southwest College (LASC), located in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles County near Watts, is a public community college serving predominantly African American and Hispanic students. LASC is a part of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD). It is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
