Admission Requirements
Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) is a public community college in Springfield, Illinois. LLCC offers more than 60 associate degree and certificate programs in business, health, science and technology, and the arts and humanities. Admission to LLCC is open to all students who have a high school diploma or GED. LLCC does not have an application deadline, but students are encouraged to apply early.
To be eligible for admission to LLCC, students must:
1. Submit a completed LLCC application for admission.
2. Submit official high school transcripts or GED scores.
3. Take the Accuplacer placement test, unless exempt.
4. Meet with an advisor to develop a plan of study.
5. Register for classes.
Students who have not yet completed high school or earned a GED may be eligible for admission to LLCC through the Early College Program. The Early College Program allows students to earn college credit while still in high school. To be eligible for the Early College Program, students must:
1. Be enrolled in a participating high school.
2. Have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or higher.
3. Take the Accuplacer placement test, unless exempt.
4. Meet with an advisor to develop a plan of study.
5. Register for classes.
Students who are not eligible for admission to LLCC may be eligible for admission to one of the college’s partner schools. Partner schools are four-year colleges and universities that have agreements with LLCC that allow LLCC students to transfer credits to the partner school. Partner schools include:
1. University of Illinois at Springfield
2. Southern Illinois University Edwardsville
3. MacMurray College
4. Lincoln College
5. Blackburn College
6. Springfield College in Illinois
To be eligible for admission to a partner school, students must:
1. Submit a completed LLCC application for admission.
2. Submit official high school transcripts or GED scores.

4. Meet with an advisor to develop a plan of study.
5. Register for classes.
6. Apply to the partner school.
Students who are not eligible for admission to LLCC or a partner school may be eligible for admission to one of the college’
