Gwinnett Technical College (GTC) is a public technical college in Georgia. The college offers associate degrees, technical certificates of credit, and non-credit continuing education courses in more than 50 programs of study.
Gwinnett Tech is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees. The college is one of the largest providers of technical education in the state of Georgia.
Gwinnett Tech was established in 1984 as the Gwinnett Area Technical School. The school was created in response to the need for a trained workforce in the growing Atlanta metropolitan area. The school began with just over 200 students and has grown to serve more than 11,000 students annually.
Gwinnett Tech offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of students and the community. The college has programs in business, health sciences, engineering, and information technology.
