Great Bay Community College (GBCC) is a public community college in New Hampshire. It is part of the Community College System of New Hampshire. GBCC serves the seacoast region of New Hampshire and the southern part of Maine. The college has two campuses, one in Portsmouth and one in Rochester.
GBCC offers over 50 degree and certificate programs. The college also offers adult education and continuing education courses. GBCC is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
The college was founded in 1964 as Portsmouth Technical Institute. The institute became a community college in 1967. In 1971, the college moved to its current campus in Portsmouth. In 2009, the college opened its second campus in Rochester.
GBCC is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges and the New Hampshire Community College System.
