The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is a comprehensive community college serving Canyon and Owyhee counties in southwestern Idaho. Founded in 2007, CWI is the state’s newest and fastest-growing college.

CWI offers more than 150 programs and degrees, including university transfer, career and technical education, and adult basic education. CWI also offers a variety of online and distance learning opportunities.

CWI’s main campus is located in Nampa, Idaho, just off Interstate 84. The college also has campuses in Caldwell and Boise, as well as several off-campus locations throughout the Treasure Valley.

CWI is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The college is a member of the Idaho Association of Community Colleges and the National Association of Community Colleges.

CWI is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, appointed by the Idaho State Board of Education. The college is led by President Bert Glandon, who began his tenure in July 2014.
