Admission Requirements
City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College is a two-year community college located in the city of Chicago, Illinois. The college is part of the City Colleges of Chicago system, the largest community college system in Illinois. Daley College offers over 60 degree and certificate programs, as well as a variety of continuing education and adult education courses.
Admission to Daley College is open to all residents of Illinois who have a high school diploma or GED. Out-of-state residents may also be eligible for admission if they meet certain criteria. All students must complete an application and submit all required transcripts and test scores. International students must also submit proof of English proficiency.
Once admitted, students must complete a placement test to determine their course level in English and math. Students who place into lower-level courses may be required to complete remedial coursework before taking credit-bearing courses.
Daley College is committed to providing affordable education to all students. Tuition and fees are based on residency status and course level. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Payment plans are also available to help make college more affordable.
