Admission Requirements
Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute (CCC&TI) is an accredited two-year public institution of higher education and one of the 58 colleges in the North Carolina Community College System. CCC&TI serves Caldwell and Watauga counties in northwestern North Carolina. The college enrolls over 8,200 students in credit and non-credit programs each year.
The mission of CCC&TI is to provide accessible, high-quality education and training opportunities that empower individuals to achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals. CCC&TI is committed to being responsive to the needs of the community and to promoting economic development.
CCC&TI offers over 100 programs of study leading to Associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. The college also offers a variety of continuing education and workforce development courses and programs.
Admission to CCC&TI is open to any individual who has a high school diploma or equivalent. Some programs may have additional admission requirements. Applicants must complete an application for admission and submit all required transcripts and test scores.
Tuition and fees at CCC&TI are very affordable and vary depending on the program of study. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
CCC&TI is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The college is also accredited by numerous professional and specialized accrediting agencies.
