Yeshiva University is a private university in New York City. Founded in 1886, it is the world's oldest Jewish university and the largest in the United States. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The university's undergraduate schools—Yeshiva College, Stern College for Women, and Syms School of Business—offer a dual curriculum inspired by Jewish law and tradition and secular studies. Its graduate schools include Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. The university also operates Yeshiva University High Schools.
