Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU) is a private, non-profit, graduate school of biomedical sciences in Pomona, California. It is one of only four such schools in the greater Los Angeles area. The university is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
The university offers programs in osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, occupational therapy, optometry, veterinary medicine, nursing, and dentistry. It also has a Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, which offers programs in biomedical sciences, clinical research, and public health.
WesternU is committed to serving the health needs of the community, and offers a variety of patient care services at its clinics in Pomona, Ontario, and Palm Springs. These include primary care, specialty care, urgent care, and dental care. The university also has a number of research centers, including the Center for Education and Research on Therapeutics, the Center for Oral Health Care Research, and the Center for Health Disparities Research.
