Utah State University (USU) is a public land-grant university in Logan, Utah, United States. Founded in 1888 as Utah's agricultural college, USU focused on agriculture and engineering. It has since expanded to include programs in liberal arts, business, economics, natural resources, and sciences. USU is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.

USU offers more than 170 undergraduate majors and more than 130 graduate programs. USU has the highest percentage of out-of-state students of any public university in Utah, as well as the largest number of international students. The university has a student-to-faculty ratio of 17:1.

USU's main campus is in Logan with additional campuses in Brigham City, Tooele, and the Uintah Basin. The university also operates a regional campus in Salt Lake City and a distance education program. USU has a total enrollment of more than 28,000 students, including more than 22,000 on the main campus.

USU's athletic teams compete in Division I of the NCAA and are known as the Aggies. They are members of the Mountain West Conference. The university's mascot is Big Blue, an anthropomorphic bull.
