The University of New England is a private research university in Biddeford, Maine. The school was founded in 1831 as a medical college and became a university in 1934. The university is made up of five colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and Economics, the College of Education and Human Development, the College of Pharmacy, and the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
