The University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) is a public university in Monroe, Louisiana. The university is a member of the University of Louisiana System and is categorized as a Carnegie Doctoral Research University. ULM is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

ULM offers over 80 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The university is home to Louisiana's only College of Pharmacy and the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall. ULM is also one of the few universities in the United States to offer a degree in Aviation.

The university was founded in 1931 as Ouachita Parish Junior College. The school became Ouachita Parish Community College in 1949 and then Northeast Louisiana University in 1974. ULM gained university status in 1999.

The university's athletic teams, known as the Warhawks, compete in the NCAA Division I Sun Belt Conference. The football team has won two conference championships and made one appearance in the NCAA Division I Football Championship. The men's basketball team has won one conference championship and made two appearances in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament.
