Founded in 1866, The College of Wooster is a private liberal arts college in Wooster, Ohio. The college enrolls approximately 2,000 students, and offers over 50 majors and areas of study. The College of Wooster is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The college is also a member of the Great Lakes Colleges Association and the Five Colleges of Ohio consortium. The College of Wooster's athletic teams compete in the NCAA Division III North Coast Athletic Conference. The college's men's basketball team has won the NCAA Division III National Championship twice, in 1968 and 1975.
