Taylor University is a private, interdenominational, evangelical Christian college in Upland, Indiana. Founded in 1846, it is one of the oldest evangelical colleges in North America. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. The university's motto is "Humble before God. Bold before the world."
The university offers more than 100 undergraduate majors and programs, as well as graduate degrees in business, education, ministry, and nursing. The campus is home to approximately 2,000 students from more than 40 countries. The student-to-faculty ratio is 12:1 and the average class size is 15.
