Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) is a two-year community college located in Spokane, Washington, in the United States. It is part of the Community Colleges of Spokane, a consortium of two community colleges and a technical college serving Spokane County. SFCC offers Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees, as well as professional and technical certificates. The college has an enrollment of approximately 11,000 students.
SFCC was founded in 1963 as Spokane Community College, one of the first two community colleges in Washington state. It was renamed Spokane Falls Community College in 1965 when Spokane Community College and Spokane Technical Institute merged. SFCC moved to its current location on the north side of Spokane in 1974.
The college is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. It offers a variety of programs and courses, including arts and sciences, business and technology, health sciences, and continuing education. SFCC has partnerships with several four-year colleges and universities, which allow students to transfer credits and complete a bachelor's degree. The college also offers a number of services to its students, including tutoring, advising, and career services.
