Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) is a private, non-profit university located in Whittier, California. The university offers a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree as its primary educational program. SCU also offers a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM) and a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) degree.
Founded in 1911, SCU is the oldest chiropractic college in the western United States. The university is accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) and offers a four-year, full-time Doctor of Chiropractic program. The program is designed to prepare students for licensure and practice as primary care providers.
SCU also offers a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM) degree program. The MSTCM program is a three-year, full-time program that is designed to prepare students for licensure and practice as primary care providers in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
