Southeast Missouri State University is a public university located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, United States. The school was founded in 1873 as a normal school, making it the second oldest public university in the state of Missouri. The school is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The school is divided into 5 colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Education, the College of Health and Human Services, and the College of Nursing and Allied Health.
