Sioux Falls Seminary is a private, evangelical seminary in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and the Higher Learning Commission. The seminary offers master's degrees in divinity, counseling, and ministry, as well as a Doctor of Ministry degree.
Founded in 1869, Sioux Falls Seminary is the oldest seminary in the Dakotas. It was originally founded as a training ground for missionaries to the Dakota Territory, and its first president was the Rev. George H. Pond, a missionary to the Sioux. The seminary has been accredited by the ATS since 1925.
The seminary's campus is located in the historic district of downtown Sioux Falls. The campus includes several buildings, including the main academic building, which houses the library, classrooms, and offices; the President's House; and the Student Center.
