Founded in 1965, Santa Fe College is a public college in Gainesville, Florida. It is part of the Florida College System and offers associate and baccalaureate degrees. The college has four campuses: the main campus in northwest Gainesville, the Northwest Campus in southwest Gainesville, the Health Science Center in downtown Gainesville, and the Davis Center in Archer. Santa Fe College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Santa Fe College was founded in 1965 as Santa Fe Junior College. The college was established to meet the needs of the growing population of Alachua County. The college was named after the Santa Fe River, which flows through the county. The college's first president was Joseph B. Whitehead, who served from 1965 to 1968. The college's first campus was located on a former Air Force base in northwest Gainesville. The college began offering associate degrees in 1966. In 1967, the college moved to its current main campus. In 1968, the college began offering bachelor's degrees. In 1970, the college's name was changed to Santa Fe Community College. In 2009, the college's name was changed to Santa Fe College.
