SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) is a public research university with campuses in Albany and Utica, New York, United States. SUNY Poly is a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. It was established in 1966 as the SUNY Institute of Technology (SUNYIT). In 2014, SUNY Poly became autonomous from SUNY and changed its name.

SUNY Poly offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in engineering, science, and technology. Its programs are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). SUNY Poly has research partnerships with many corporations and government agencies, including IBM, GlobalFoundries, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Department of Energy.

SUNY Poly's Albany campus is located on 250 acres (1.0 km2) of land in the University Heights neighborhood of Albany. The campus is home to five schools: the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, the School of Architecture, the School of Business, and the School of Information Science and Technology. The Utica campus is located on 120 acres (0.49 km2) of land in the Mohawk Valley region of New York. The campus is home to the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering.

SUNY Poly has an enrollment of over 5,800 students. The Albany campus is home to about 3,700 students, while the Utica campus is home to about 2,100 students. SUNY Poly's student body is about evenly split between male and female students. The majority of SUNY Poly's students are from New York State, with about 30% of students coming from outside of the state.

SUNY Poly is led by President Dr. Harvey Stenger. The university's Board of Trustees is chaired by Terence O'Toole.
