Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) is a private, non-profit university located in Yakima, Washington. The university offers graduate-level programs in osteopathic medicine, physician assistant studies, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and pharmacology. PNWU is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and is a member of the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U).
PNWU was founded in 2001 with the mission to educate and train health care professionals to serve the people of the Pacific Northwest. The university opened its doors to students in 2004, and has since graduated over 1,500 health care professionals.
