Admission Requirements
National Paralegal College (NPC) is committed to providing quality paralegal education to students from a variety of academic backgrounds. The admissions process is designed to identify and assess an applicant's ability to complete the program and to succeed as a paralegal.
NPC requires that all applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition, applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. Applicants must also have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
NPC does not require that applicants have any prior work experience or legal education. However, preference may be given to those with relevant work experience or who have completed coursework in law, criminal justice, or a related field.
Once an applicant has met the basic admissions requirements, they will be asked to submit a written essay and participate in an interview. The essay and interview are designed to assess the applicant's writing ability and communication skills.
After the interview, the admissions committee will make a final decision on whether or not to admit the applicant. Those who are admitted will be required to complete a background check and drug test prior to enrolling in classes.
