Mississippi College (MC) is a private, Christian university located in Clinton, Mississippi. Founded in 1826, MC is the second oldest Baptist college in the world and the oldest in the state of Mississippi. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and offers over 80 undergraduate and graduate programs. MC's campus spans over 200 acres and includes several historic buildings. The school's athletic teams compete in the NCAA Division II and are known as the Choctaws.
