Founded in 1932, Lawrence Technological University is a private university located in Southfield, Michigan, United States. The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in various fields of study.

Lawrence Tech was founded as the Lawrence Institute of Technology by Russell E. Lawrence. The university was established in order to provide quality education in the fields of engineering, science, and architecture.

Lawrence Tech offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields of study. The university is divided into six colleges: the College of Architecture and Design, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and Information Technology, the College of Engineering, the College of Education, and the College of Graduate Studies.

Lawrence Tech is home to a number of student organizations and clubs, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the National Society of Black Engineers, and the Society of Women Engineers.

The university offers a number of athletics programs and is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. The university’s sports teams are known as the Blue Devils and they compete in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.
