Ithaca College is a private college in Ithaca, New York. The college was founded in 1892 as a music conservatory and is now a comprehensive college with six schools: the School of Business, the School of Communications, the School of Humanities and Sciences, the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, the School of Music, and the Roy H. Park School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Ithaca College has about 6,500 students and offers over 100 degree programs. The college is known for its strong liberal arts and sciences programs, as well as its programs in business, communications, and music.
